Our partner Jordi López has contributed as an author to the book "El Reglamento de trasferencias FIFA 2027: Comentarios Prácticos", edited by Professors Gustavo Abreu, Miguel Cardenal Carro and Gabriel César Lozano, with a chapter on the consequences of inducement to breach of contract in the new version of the FIFA Regulations on the Status and Transfer of Players. In this chapter, Jordi analyses the origin and rationale behind the reform of the Regulations concerning the inducement to breach of contract, the impact of the Diarra judgement in this regard, and the main novelties set out in paragraphs 9 to 11 of Article 17 of the Regulations.
